State Senate Bill Targets Hunters

The Illinois State Senate is poised to consider SB 1195, which would ban ban the possession of any shotgun 28 gauge or larger. SB 1195 is the brainchild of anti-gun Chicago Mayor Richard Daley. The sweeping ban is alerting hunters across the state that the anti-gun factions have their sites set on a complete prohibition of gun ownership. Regardless of the outcome of the final vote on this bill, the message is clear--Mayor Daley and his cronies won`t rest until they have taken away the rights of every gun owner in the state.
